Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

It was the best decision I ever made to join. Despite the negative
responses from my peers I went out and discovered a whole new way of
life and became the man i wanted to be.

Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:

I traveled to Zaire with Nancy Barker and we parted ways on a mountain
side overlooking the rain forest. I wonder what country she works in now
and how many languages does she speak.

Jody,
I was having a rough night with my teenage daughter and decided to google nice people I've known. You were the first one I googled and was glad to read your profile.
You were one of the most supportive, good-hearted people I knew in Kenya, and I really appreciate that. I remember how you would howl when you laughed, and how embarrassed I was whenever you did your huge yawns without covering your mouth. It was fun going out for pumbe, hanging out at the Pigale, and rendezvousing in Kisumu.
Thanks for everything.
Shelli Berwick
