I did a little bit of everything in Kingston. My main assignment was to seek funding for the creation of a facility that trained Jamaican Industrial Arts teachers on how to build wheelchairs and crutches for the physically changed individuals in their communities. Additionally, I was a volunteer track & field coach for some Kingston area high schools.
Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I work for the athletic department at the University of Illinois. I manage a multi-purpose training facility and director all the home track & field meets.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
It was the perfect experience for that time of my life!
