My Peace Corps service in Udon Thani
Udon Thani RPCVs - Share a story about your Peace Corps service in Thailand.
Here are some ideas:
When did you serve? How long were you there? What was your job? Where did you live? What's the funniest thing that happened to you while you were serving? Have you been back since you left the Peace Corps? If so, how have things changed? What did you learn from your service? What do you think you accomplished? What would you have done differently? What would you tell a prospective volunteer who is going to Thailand?
Post your comments and messages below or start a new story above by clicking "New Conversation.".

LETS TALK ABOUT THE CIA.
I SERVED IN UDORN THAILAND WHERE THE CIA OPERATED AT THE LOCAL AIR BASE.(MID 60'S)
I KNOW THAT THEY INTERCEPTED MY MAIL AMD OBSERVED MY MOVEMENTS.
THEY TRIED TO RECRUIT ME THRU A LAOS OPERATIVE. I REJECTED THEIR OFFER.
THEY TRIED TO FUCK ME OVER BY SPREADING RUMORS AND STORIES. THEY DID THIS EFFECTIVELY.
DID OTHER PCVS HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE IN THEIR AREAS?
