Work Description:
Taught Biology at a Government Secondary School in the village of Enyoh for one year. Worked as a grant writer and resource person at the Teacher's Resource Senter in Bamenda, NWP, my second year.
Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I am currently working at the Portland Veteran's Administration Medical Center as a clinical study coordinator. Begining in August, 2005, I will attend nursing school to get a MSN at the University of Portland in Portland, OR.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
I did not have nearly enough patience with the people of Cameroon. I have learned so much about being an American from my service and I have learned a lot about what it means to truely serve. I did some good work as a PCV but if I could do it all again I would be better at really giving service and at enjoying the Cameroonian culture.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Any RPCV from Cameroon is welcome.
