Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

I married an an RPCV from India in 1965; we lived and worked abroad for 25 years. I currently work for Peace Corps HQ as a Desk Officer for Middle East-Caucasus. Daughter Adrienne Benson Scherger was a Volunteer in Nepal. She married an RPCV from Romania. She and her children currently live and work in Albania where her husband is Administrative Officer for the Peace Corps program.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

I'm glad I joined and I celebrate the fact that the agency still exists.
