Returned Peace Corps Volunteer marie olson meadows can be contacted at momwgmamotiondnet
Country of Service: ecuador
Cities you served in: manglaltor, quito
Arrival Year: 1978
Departure Year: 1978
Work Description: agriculture
Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
received Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis on
international business/finance
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
My decision to leave was hard but the best one for me at the time. The
experience I have gathered from 10 1/2 years with two agricultural
companies and the 12 years I have been with State governement
combined with my Masters I think I would be much more effective and
instrumental in working with foreign countries and assiting them in
International Development and working with their governments to
establish agricultural programs and teach as well.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
from 1978 Patty Hubbuch, Mary Flynn, Drew Smith and Thomas Vaughn
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Anyone who remembers me and was in Quito at the time in 1978 please
contact me.
