Cities you served in: Provincia Napo, Canton El Chaco

Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

Corrently living on the island of Moloka'i. Working as a Public Health Nurse
with the State Dept.of Health...It has been a long and winding road....

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

It was the most important period of my life prior to being married. I
probably should have stayed longer after service.

Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:

Dan Shellabarger, Elli Flaming, Anyone from omnibus 55, or currently in
the Provincia Napo now.

Any message for returned volunteers?:

Be wary of whoever these "moderators" are(If you delete this comment,
delete my application!).........Wake up, get real, get a job, and be
thankful.....Realize that if you were really "effective" while on assignment,
then you learned more from the local people than they learned from you.

Hi Ken Gonzalez....

My name is Brooks Benedict and I was a volunteer in the town of Bombon. I suppose there are not too many people that have lived there and I heard your name quite a bit. I left Bombon in April of 2004. Let me know if you get this before I write a long involved email. It would be great to hear from you out of curiosity. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon....Brooks Benedict
