At about the time you were in Peru, my little Buckbee School with 150 students raised $1,200 as a part of the Illinois Association of Junior High Student Council's activities. These funds were sent to the Peace Corps School Partnership Program.
Funds were used for materials to build a school - built by volunteers from the village. My audiology lady is from Peru and I was relating the story to her and trying to recall where it was. It occurred to me that Trujillo was the mailing address but those old records are now gone.
Might you have been there or know how I could find out where the school was built?
