Michelle Drabiski was one of my best friends in high school. I have immense respect for her and how she lived her short life. She was a great student, caring person and loyal friend. Even though it has been 16 years since she died, I still I keep her and her family in my prayers. She deserves great honor for her service as a registered nurse and as a Peace Corps volunteer.

I went to college with Michelle at Kent State University. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about Michelle. She was a caring person with a compassion that is hard to describe. Michelle was open-minded and even when she disagreed with an opposing opinion she never closed her mind to the other person’s thoughts or words. I have a daughter that reminds me of Michelle. I hope that she grows up to be the outstanding human being that Michelle Drabiski was.

Michelle was a childhood friend and remained a close friend until her death. I miss her dearly, but have wonderful memories of her crazy sense of humor. The middle name of my oldest son is Michael, in memory of Michelle. It keeps her memory alive and keeps her close in my thoughts.

Thank all of you for your kind thoughts. It is so good that others have loved our daughter.
