I acquired this great batik from a woman who was in the Peace Corps in Sri Lanka in the 1970’s
I acquired this great batik from a woman who was in the Peace Corps in Sri Lanka in the 1970’s. One of the men she worked with there designed/made this neat piece of work! It measures 25 ½” X 30 ½”. It is in an acrylic frame that has bowed a bit over time. It is the type you put together with tightening clamps and strings on the back. The winning bidder will have the option of the batik in the frame, or I can just roll the batik up and send it (without the frame) for you to frame. The batik is in great condition, and is a neat piece of Peace Corps history from the 1970’s! If you want the batik without the frame shipping will be $3.85 Priority Mail (in the U.S.). If you want an idea of shipping with the frame, it would be 7 pounds shipping weight from zip code 05346. I will ship by USPS Parcel Post or Priority Mail. Please check out my other auctions! I accept credit cards through PayPal. Personal checks welcome with 25+ positive feedbacks (check hold at my discretion), otherwise payment by money order only please. Payment MUST be received within 7 days of auction close. SEVEN DAYS MAX! International buyers must pay by PayPal or money order only please, and will be notified at auction end what shipping charges will be. I only charge actual shipping. Winning Bidder Please Read: I normally e-mail my winning bidder within a few hours of auction end. If you do not receive an e-mail from me within a few hours please check your Spam Folder. I have had several winning bidder notifications get hung up in the buyers Spam folders! Insurance is optional, but recommended. Once your item crosses the counter at the Post Office, I am no longer responsible for it! I do not give refunds for items that are damaged or lost in transit, and are not insured!
