Urgench Boldi :'(
[Excerpt]
well got another visa update...All UZ 18 volunteers are headed to Tashkent to prepare for leaving Uzbekistan. There is still a chance we could get visas by the 1st but right now I am having some mixed emotions about that. With the new news, which is no news on the renewing of visas,i fell like my time here in UZ is over. It would be very hard to jump right back into the program especially if our visas would be for another month. My mind is already prepared to move on to another place.
This weekend we will discuss our options for the future. We can head back to the us, be re assgined in the us and wait for the departure, or head to another country immediatley. who knows where i will actually end up, but on june 1st i will be in another country.
Wish me luck! I will post again this weekend

Friends of the Peace Corps 170,000 strong
170,000 is a very special number for the RPCV community - it's the number of Volunteers who have served in the Peace Corps since 1961. It's also a number that is very special to us because March is the first month since our founding in January, 2001 that our readership has exceeded 170,000. And while we know that not everyone who comes to this site is an RPCV, they are all "Friends of the Peace Corps." Thanks everybody for making PCOL your source of news for the Returned Volunteer community.
