I have a question for recently returned (last 2 years) RPCVs from the Ivory Coast. I was a business volunteer in Bolivia (96-98) and I've decided to join the Peace Corps again and hoping to go to French speaking Africa this time around. I am still trying to figure out when I would like to leave my current job and I'm trying to get a sense of when business volunteers leave to francophone posts. First, are there business volunteers serving in the Ivory Coast, and if so can you tell me what month the business volunteers arrive? Thanks!

Dear Ivory Coast RPCVs:

I am an immigration attorney in St. Paul, Minnesota. I am also an RPCV (Senegal 1993-96).

I am representing an Ivoirian client in an application for political asylum. We are looking for someone who can serve as a credible expert witness in my client's case.

Specifically, we are looking to hire someone with knowledge of the current political situation in the Ivory Coast. This could be a professor, researcher, aid worker, RPCV, or anyone else who has been to the country recently or who has studied it in depth.

If you can recommend anyone, please contact me directly by email (dz@zonnlaw.com) or by telephone (651-209-8302).

Thank you all in advance for your help.

Warm regards,

Dick Zonneveld
