Eugene (Gene) and Nancy were married upon her return, October 1967, at Stanford, California; we raised two daughters, Amy and Serena, both now married, with two grandkids of Amy's; Eugene is a professor of anthropology at the University of Washington, Seattle, and Nancy now retired after teaching in the public schools; we live near Seattle, Washington
