Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I work as a database developer and applications programmer for Arby's in Atlanta. A veteran of too many careers as a high school teacher (after some more education of course) in North Carolina, publishing in New York City, then some work in the counseling field (after some more education of course) and financial sales.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Two of the best years of my life. I miss the ruggedness of life then and the occasion for friendship with other adventurers. Returned in 1994 and visited my old school (Rangenyo, near Kisii) -- I loved the shock and recognition dawning on faces by the road when I showed up -- my letter that I was coming hadn't arrived. Word spread quickly and a chicken was brought.
