Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

I became a high school English teacher and ultimately chairman of the English department. I retired after 32 years and am enjoying life immensely.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

It was simply the single most formative event of my life, affecting everything I have done since. It made me into a better, more aware, more caring person, gave me strength to persevere, and taught me to rely on myself. It was, in many ways, both the best and the worst experience of my life, and one I never regret.
