Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I continue to work for the USDA Forest Service in Fire & Aviation
Management/Northern Region Fire Cache/Missoula, Montana. I married a
woman from Oruro, Bolivia. She worked in a nearby village as an
elementary school teacher during my tour of duty. We have a six year old
bilingual daughter who is in kindergarten and is studying French, Ballet &
Piano. I am also studying Ballet & Piano. I plan to go back to undergraduate
school (I have a BA in Political Science from Taylor University in Upland,
Indiana) to get a possible second degree in Pure Mathematics in
preparation for a Masters Degree in Policy Analysis.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
I will never ever be the same person I was before I entered Peace Corps.
Next to my four years at Taylor University I must say Peace Corps was my
greatest life changing experience.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Yes, Andrew Bush. He and I were in Bolivia together. I noticed that his
name is not listed in the Hard Copy Directory.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Go back and visit your site as often as you can.
