Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I've been working in journalism ever since, first as editor of a small
weekly on the Minnesota-Ontario border, then as a reporter for a
regional daily on the Minnesota-North Dakota border, and now as city
editor of that daily, the Grand Forks Herald. I took a year off in 1999
to study and install wind and solar electric systems.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
I really loved it. In fact a girlfriend recently dumped me in part
because I kept encouraging her to join the Peace Corps.
