Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Moved back to Olympia, WA and started work as a Parole Officer for Dept. of Corrections. I work with high risk offenders (murders, rapists) recently released from prison.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
It was a great experience! I had to terminate after a year due to a family illness ( my mom became very sick). It was the right thing for me to do. Every year I get to be the translator for a Bulgarian singing group which travels to the states. I am glad I still use my Bulgarian!
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
I keep in touch with pretty much everyone I got to know and love while overseas.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Just relax and enjoy the readjustment
