This is very old so I assume this has been taken care of a long time ago. First, your son should have given yo the contact information for the Peace Corps office in Vanuatu before he departed. If not, contact the Peace Corps in Washington 800-424-8580 and ask for assistance.

Peace Corps does a good job at monitoring this site. The incountry staff also monitor blogs, groups, etc relating to Vanuatu to ensure that concerned family and freinds back home are informed. I helped intercept this message and passed it on to him when I was in country. It is all good. As a last resort, when all of these measures do not work, the 800 number in Washington is a good source in emergencies. Incidently, the volunteer is back home now in the US.
