Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
After Peace Corps, stayed on in Truk as contract teacher. In '74 married
in Truk fellow volunteer Patricia Meyers. '75 went to Iran with Telemedia
doing training. Evacuated. Continued with Telemedia on various Saudi
and Egypt contacts. Worked out of San Diego. Extensive travel in Mid
East. Got Master's in Ed Tech from SDSU. Ended up in Indonesia in '82 -
'87. More training development. Adopted a son while there; he is now 16
and the apple of my life. Currently back in San Diego with Symitar
(financial data processing software), managing a 48 person Education
and Tech Pubs dept.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Actually, the most fun years of my life. Developed some of my best
curricula. Got married. Got the travel bug very badly.
