Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

Went to gratuate school. Doctoral degree in Counseling Psy. Married 31
years with 22 year old daughter and 19 year old son. Private psychology
practice since 1979 to present. Also President of e-commerce business for
past three years.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

Endless source of stories for my family. Wonderful pictures. I believe that I
probably gained more personally than I contributed. I learned a great deal
about the concept of community, and the value of people vs. things. The
cross-cultural awareness has served me well, and I believe that the
experience has allowed me to relate to a wider number of people, during
my post-service life than had I not had this experience. I Had the
opportunity to grow up; seperate from my parents, and gain some
confidence. I hope that I made a difference to someone, because I had a
wonderful and valuable adventure.

Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:

Anyone from my program

Any message for returned volunteers?:

If you're newly returned, be patient with the readjustment process. I didn't
find many friends who could relate to my experience, and it was kind of
lonely for a while; But, it got better.
