Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
got an MA in German Literature, married, divorced, remarried, worked as a researcher for a drug treatment program for seven years and then taught high school English, French and German in Portland, OR. Now retired and living on the southern Washington coast with my wife. Nine grandchildren.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
The Peace Corps was immensely important in my life; it helped shape my feelings about my own country and its place in the world. I've never for an instant been sorry I joined.
