Managed and led activities of a rural project with local counterpart in Ipala, Chiquimula, Guatemala, including Agroforestry and Women in Development projects. Established farmers’ and women’s groups, constructed tree nurseries, demonstrated agroforestry and soil conservation systems, and organized and directed small animal and community garden projects using small loans.
