2002: Kevin Marousek served in Kazakhstan in Pavlodar beginning in 2002
Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Kevin Marousek can be contacted at kevinmarousekahotmaildcom
Country of Service: Kazakhstan
Training Group: Kaz 11
Cities you served in: Pavlodar
Arrival Year: 2002
Departure Year: 2003
Work Description:
TEFL volunteer at Zhas Daryn school. The Daryn schools feature "gifted" students, all of Kazakh nationality. My claim to fame is that, after repeatedly trying to quit at that school and transfer to a school with a more effective administration, I was ultimately fired.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
I only wish illness had not forced me stateside a year early.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
The love of my life. If she's out there, tell her to swing by my place sometime.
