returned to kazakhsta in 1997 to work as an english teacher. returned yet again in 2003 to work as a legal advisor in Atyrau after finishing law school. worked on environmental and business development issues

always keep in touch with the host country people. 8 years after peace corps, the peace corp connections were invaluable to my career. it wasn't much help when i first returned home, or even for all the years in between, but now, huge career boost
