Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Traveled through Europe and the Middle east for 6 months after
leaving Liberia...returned to NYC and worked for a year;afterward i
moved to the Virgin Islands with two of my friends from Liberia seven
and lived there for 15 years. In 1985 I moved to San Diego California
and have been here "eversince".
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
I should have taken more pictures...should have collect more stories
of the country and the people;when you are young, many times you
take things for granted.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
There are about 20 of us from group seven who are in contact with
each other,we would like to find the rest of the group and have a
reunion next year.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
I was there in the 60's and things have changed....my only message is
that life will never be the same for you;but that is ok because you will
find and make a new life!
