Married my Malay sweetheart in 1968 and still have her and two wonderful daughters, one of whom is a chemical engineer and the other a patent lawyer; Received Ph. D. in 1974 from University of Pennsylvania; Joined United Nations in 1974; Retired in 2003 as Senior Economist on Asia and the Pacific specializing in trade, finance, mangement, and development; Currently living in Calfornia.
