After Peace Corps, I lived in Egypt (for three years) teaching English at American University in Cairo and married my ‘jewel of the Nile’, Violette. Then, I got a PhD in Anthropology from Columbia University. Now, I’m an Assistant Professions of Anthropology at Californian State University Fresno.
