Hello . I hope that someone can answer my question. I am not a member of the peace corp yet, my question is am I someone that could be used. I want to help in Peru, I work with children who have special needs, I know Braille and Amearican Sign Language, I have been working with children who have differnt special needs for the last 12 years. I would like to know If the Peace Corp would have a place for someone like myself. I am a single mother of 2 girls...ages 12 & 16...I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by profession & have much experience. I am looking to live & work in South America...preferably Peru. My only need is a school for my girls...& hopefully the possibility of my 16 year old daughter playing basketball as she is quite gifted as an athlete...especially basketball.
