Foreign Service Officer with USIA. Served in Nepal, Laos, Lebanon, Zaire, India and Sri Lanka. Retired in 1987. Published writer of poetry, short stories, travel memoirs and essays. Wife, Etrennes, originally from Lucknow, India, tutors French and teaches English as a Second Language.
