Earned Ph.D. in linguistics at UCLA in 1971, taught at Illinois, Georgia State,
and, since 1980, at Ball State University. Married, three grown children.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

I'd do it again. One of the most interesting and rewarding parts of my life.
