Work Description:
In Gaya I taught English at Gaya CEG. In Tahoua I worked at UNCC teaching the farmers how to break oxen to pull plows. Then I did a gardening project
Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I taught school in various locations. Did 21 years in the Air Force Reserve in Air Transportation. Married have one son. Currently in Saudi Arabia teaching school 9-12.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Toughest job I ever loved. Serioulsy I have many fond memories of my friends both in the Peace Corps and Nigeriens.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Tom(Monty)Fusco. He had to leave to go to Washington for some medical treatment. When He got back I had already left to come home.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Many of the things I learned in the Peace Corps helped me in all the other jobs I've had.
