In 1974 received MPH from Tulane. Living as guest in monastery in
Memphis TN when met my future husband. Married, had 3 children, lived
8 years in his native NYC. Worked as health educator in huge public
hospital for 2 years before moving to my native Oregon. Lived near my
parents, reared kids, worked as consultant to family childcare providers
then intercultural programs coordinator with TOEFL program at
university. Now in nursing school to become midwife.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

PC was formative and broadening, hope I helped Africans as they helped
me. After 20 years, have been in touch with one scrawny dusty village
child who went on to university and is now an international journalist!

Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:

Dale Weimer

Any message for returned volunteers?:

Keep the faith!
