Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Returned to the US in late 1998. Began working as Web Marketing
Specialist in Arizona. Am currently persuing an MBA in International
Management at Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of
International Management in Phoenix, Arizona. Married Issa Khoury on
August 17, 2001, in Seattle. Will graduate from Thunderbird in May 2002,
and then will join my husband in Seattle, where we have a home.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
I really enjoyed the experience & miss it a lot... I especially miss the
friends I made, both Paraguayans and other PCVs. However, I don't miss
the food (since I'm vegetarian, and it's just "so'o ha mandi'o
paraguaipy"). Also, I am really enjoying having a parasite-free
existence!
Any message for returned volunteers?:
