Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I came back as Associate Director of the Peace Corps in Tunisia 1967-69,
later did a cultural anthropology PhD at UC/Berkeley. Married Tunisia
RPCV Karen Trocki and have two kids. I've worked as Vice Chair of
Berkeley's Middle East Center from 1979 to now.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
It was a wonderful, mind-expanding experience. Even after two years, I
still knew so little about Tunisia. It's been great to go back several times
since then.
