Rural Community Development. However, I discovered that many adults could not read or write Spanish so I started a literacy program in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture in Monteria.

I did not serve after the three years in Colombia, but I think a part of me never left Colombia.
Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
After Peace Corps I obtained a Califonia Elementary and Secondary Teaching Credential,and M.S. in Systems Management. I worked in Quality Assurance in several Silicon Valley Co. including Memorex, Ford Aerospace,and Space Systems Loral. I married and have 3 stepchildren. I went to Lincoln Law School in San Jose and obtained a J.D. I am currently substitute teaching in the Campbell, CA school district.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Peace Corps was the best experience I have had bar none. It changed my life forever and made me the person I am today. If I could, I would go back right now.

Group 46 had a reunion of 17 members of our group in 1996. We are going to have another reunion in August 2006 in Toronto, Canada. We are currently trying to locate everyone who was in our group. My email is sracine@aol.com
