Based on our ten years work in Romania and Albania, we are launching a new UK based charity initiative, called Aid for Trade, to work towards speeding the pace of rural poverty alleviation through microfranchise replication of successful microenteprises (www.aidfortrade.org.uk)

The Peace Corps has helped many microenterprises start and we are now wanting to contact - directly or indirectly, successful small rural businesses in Balkan countries (max. 5 employees and needing a maximum of $3,000 start up capital) with a view to exploring their interest to replicate by franchising.

We are also interested to collaborate in the start up of rural microentepriises suitable for future replication

Suggestions would be most welcome
