With the UN, I served in Chile (1978-82), Brazil (1983-1987), Mexico (1988-1991) and Trinidad and Tobago (1991-1994). In addition, I taught economics at the University of Havana for one month each year from 1994-1998.
Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I completed a history BA and migrated to Canada in 1968, entered graduate school in 1969 (MA in international affairs, PhD in economics), then worked as an economist in teaching, Canadian government, UN. See my webpage, www.geocities.com/larrywillmore for details.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
It was an enriching experience for me, and made me more independent.
