It's been a while since I've written. It was good to see you'd left a post here. I hope that others from training groups around ours might come across this and reconnect. It would be great to hear what others are up to at this point.
Our son Taom returned to Kiribati about 8 years ago, and is working on Kritimati Island. We were pleased to hear that he has adopted a child of his own!
Karin and I are still in the Philadelphia area. She's now on faculty at University of Pennsylvania as a child psychiatrist and neuroscience researcher. I continue to teach high school level chemistry and physics.
