You PCV's who are criticizing the film, "Borat" as being offensive to the Kazakhstan are just plain missing the message of the film.
Sheesh, even the president of Kazakhstan "got it" after a while, what up with the PCVs of today anyway?
For crying out loud we all live in a world of Borats, be it in the USA, Africa, or in the former Soviet republics. I for one have been living in the republic of Georgia for the past 13 years and not one day goes by that I don't see a Borat-esque individual(s) or action, either a local or a resident Ex-pat.
I suggest you chill out and enjoy humor when it is thrown in your face, and not to dwell to deep into a film like Borat, or you just may see yourself and your daily activities as a PCV being pointed out to you!
Happy 2007...
