I read nothing of the family's 'bitterness.' Did only I miss that reference?

Re bitterness: As a reader re. the family of the Tobnga PCV who perished in Tonga's waters, I read only of constructive and caring acts on the parts of family, PC, and , of course, the local people? Did I miss references to the presumed 'family's' 'bitterness'? Thanks from Heidi -- PC Yap not that far but far.

Surely our government can afford to step up to the plate and be decent. The treatment of our volunteer service people and military is so mean- spirited as to be embarrassing.
