Dear Greg -
I've just seen your PC message. Glad to hear you have your PhD - and that you're still an entomologist! Are you employed by USDA? Living where?! Still using your beautiful Spanish? Family? Still in touch with PC friends?
I've been in DC since 1982. Married a scientist (astrophysics); adopted 2 lively kids from Russia (they're now 16 & 17 years old, been with us for almost 11 years). Been working with AED (Academy for Educational Development) forever. Work on health communication, social marketing - started out internationally and switched to mostly domestic arena due to family. I like my work - and work part-time. I've kept up with a few Honduras-era friends: Sharon and Jen (my housemates); Ina; Martin Becker; etc. Oddly, my niece (who was born while I was in PC training) became a Honduras PCV around 2000! We took a family vacation to see her - and go to Roatan. Our PC Director, Frank Almaguer, was Ambassador at the time, and we got an invitation to lunch!
Been a long time. Do catch me up. Wishing you a happy 2007....-Ann
