One of the most unusual jobs in the Peace Corps in 1965 was working with the Lima stock market. An older gentleman, who was a retired stock broker from Wall Street in NYC, was assigned to help boost the Lima stock exchange. It sounded like a very challenging job. But it turned out that only about 20 stocks were traded on the exchange and this PCV ended up with plenty of time on his hands.
