My husband is a Peace Corps alumn (Gambia) and he suggested that I turn to this Board for advice. I work for a very large international child welfare and adoption agency. We are just opening a new office in the DC area and I would like to build awareness in the area on the plight of Ethiopian orphans and perhaps to find homes for these orphans with prospecitve adoptive parents in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area. I would like to do some networking withing the Ethiopian business communinty for ideas as well. Suggestions as to the best way to get started?
