Paraguay RPCV and Milton Butterworth III is the new director of development at Blue Ridge Community Health Services
Butterworth is well-known in the community for being the driving force in the success of the Henderson County Public Schools Migrant Education Program, Reid said. "With that experience and his time with the Peace Corps, as well as the time he has served on the board of directors at Blue Ridge, it was obvious to us that he is passionate about helping others, especially in rural communities," Reid said. "So it was a natural fit for Milton to lead our development efforts."

3 leaders join health agency
From Staff Reports
Three new leaders joined Blue Ridge Community Health Services, the board of directors said Friday.
Blue Ridge named a new chief executive officer and medical and development directors to help lead the health service, which serves the underserved and uninsured.
The new leaders include two veteran health care administrators from Ohio and a local resident known for his work with the migrant population for Henderson County Schools.
Board Chairman Ronald Reid said the new members of the leadership team are committed to Blue Ridge's mission to provide quality medical and dental care to everyone in need.
"They are also very forward-thinking individuals who are eager to collaborate with other organizations in our community," Reid said. "The board is very excited about the future of Blue Ridge Community Health Services and what we can accomplish."
Jennifer Henderson is the new chief executive officer. The new medical director is Dr. Bridget King, and Milton Butterworth III is the new director of development.

"It is time to say: No more. No more trampling on our Constitution. No more excusing those who violate the rule of law. These are fundamental, basic, eternal principles. They have been around, some of them, for as long as the Magna Carta. They are enduring. What they are not is temporary. And what we do not do in a time where our country is at risk is abandon them." |
| What is the greatest threat facing us now? "People will say it's terrorism. But are there any terrorists in the world who can change the American way of life or our political system? No. Can they knock down a building? Yes. Can they kill somebody? Yes. But can they change us? No. Only we can change ourselves. So what is the great threat we are facing? I would approach this differently, in almost Marshall-like terms. What are the great opportunities out there - ones that we can take advantage of?" Read more. |
