Peace Corps trainees arrive in Molodva
According to sources within the U.S. Embassy, prior to beginning their service, the trainees will undergo a 10-week “Pre-Service Training,” to study Romanian or Russian, learn about Moldovan culture and have technical sessions. After the training, the Volunteers will work in schools and universities throughout Moldova.

The 20th group of Peace Corps trainees will arrive to Chisinau today
The 20th group of the U.S. Peace Corps Trainees will arrive to Moldova on Wednesday, June 6. The thirty-four trainees are expected to arrive in the evening at the Chisinau Airport.
According to sources within the U.S. Embassy, prior to beginning their service, the trainees will undergo a 10-week “Pre-Service Training,” to study Romanian or Russian, learn about Moldovan culture and have technical sessions. After the training, the Volunteers will work in schools and universities throughout Moldova.
Seventeen of the volunteers will work in the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and 17 will serve as Health Education Volunteers.
This year in March the U.S. Peace Corps celebrated its 46th anniversary. Since the Peace Corps’ beginnings in 1961, more than 180000 have served as volunteers in 138 countries. // Info-Prim Neo
