Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I graduated from William and Mary School of Law and I've been practicing as an International Trade Attorney with the U.S. Department of Commerce since 2000. I'm married and, as of 2008, have two daughters.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Best experience of my life - no doubt. Marriage, children, even travel are all great things - but Peace Corps was life and personality - altering. Best decision I ever made.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
I keep in contact with Jeff Spense and Mary Caron (Jeff is in Mexico City in State Dept., Mary is in Kenya with PSI). I'm always curious as to the fates of my other stagieres.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Welcome Back. If you can, go back to school ASAP and use your experience to make your graduate experience more enriching than many of your other classmates. Peace Corps + law/graduate school is a heckuva career combination!
