Originally trained for Community Development for Malaysia at Hilo Hawaii training center in the summer of 1968. I was selected for the project but withdrew and reapplied (to get married and serve with my wife).

Law school; clerked for U.S. District Court judge Spencer Williams (N.D.Cal, in San Francisco); lawyer in complex business litigation, now with my own firm, Cathcart Collins LLP in Los Angeles.

Extraordinary; formative; fond memories of people and places.
