MULTI-GENERATIONAL RPCVS, WHERE ARE YOU????? September 2001 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Peace Corps. Some of you Returned Peace Corps Volunteers went out with the very first groups and hundreds of thousands followed. How many of those who followed were sons and daughters or even grandchildren of those first, brave Volunteers? Well, we want to find out. RPCVs Steve Donovan (India 20B) and his daughter, Katrina Donovan (Bolivia 13) are heading up the Multi-Generational RPCV Committee. They are working in conjunction with the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) to search for other families who have given more than one generation to promoting peace through the Peace Corps. We would like to plan a special recognition event at NPCA’s 40th Anniversary of Peace Corps conference September 20-23 in Washington, DC to honor the families who have passed along the Peace Corps service tradition. Steve and Katrina would like to hear from you quickly. Please respond, whether you plan to attend or not. And, if you know of folks out there who are multi-generational, but might miss this email, please forward their names and addresses or ask them to contact Steve or Katrina. Their emails are steve@buscheck.com and katdonovan@yahoo.com

Or you can write to them at P.O. Box 194 Hanover, MA 02339-0194.

If you need any other information regarding the 40th Anniversary email to forty@rpcv.org or visit the NPCA website at www.rpcv.org
