I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Brazil, 1972-1974. Brazil is the only country in South America which speaks Portuguese rather than Spanish. I was at 4 degrees south of the equator, just north of the part of the country that "sticks into" Africa (without the ocean).
I organize reunions of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV)s. (Last gathering was Sunday, October 12, 4pm at Janelle Gamble's home: 2400 Bethel Lane.) There are usually about 100 such persons in the area but the list changes constantly, as many are students at IU. If you'd like to let me know of an RPCV that might not be on my list, email me.
